St. Louis, MO (January 9, 2017). The Tesseract Theatre Company is saddened to announce that it will have to cancel it’s V-Day benefit performance of The Vagina Monologues due to unforeseen circumstances. But the theatre is excited to replace the performace with a production of Samantha Macher’s “To the New Girl”, a ten-woman show focusing on the resilience of, and sometimes vengeful, broken hearts. Performances will run February 3 – 12, 2017 at the .Zack Theatre (3224 Locust Ave. St. Louis 63103). Tickets are on sale now. All performances will be interpreted for the Deaf and hard of hearing.
Tickets already purchased for The Vagina Monologues can receive a full refund or be honored for To the New Girl.
“To the New Girl” will be a benefit production.
All proceeds from performances go to the L.E.A.D Institute. The mission of L.E.A.D Institute (Leadership through Education & Advocacy for the Deaf) is to provide leadership through education, advocacy, crisis intervention services, counseling and other direct services for Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Deaf/Blind, and Late Deafened victims, survivors, and their families.
